Today the high schoolers participated in a "Bite of Reality". The students participated in a simulation where they were given an occupation, salary, student loan debt, credit card debt, cost of medical insurance, etc. They had to build a monthly budget and visit eight merchants to purchase items. It was a great experience for the students. Explorers Credit Union and the Department of Labor and Regulation hosted the event. Thank you to all the volunteers who came to help today.
