The 2023 "Friend of Softball" award was presented to the Avon Community Bank. The bank provided dollar coins for foul balls this year and also helped with the funding of the portable home run fence for the softball field. The Avon School and Softball team are very much appreciative of their support!

Mr. Lagge will be hosting a basketball skills camp July 19th & 20th . We will be working on developing shooting, ball handling, passing, and defensive skills. Players will NEED to have clean gym shoes in order to participate. Both boys and girls are welcome to attend.

Students going into grades 2-4 will go from 8:30-10:00.
Students going into grades 5-8 will go from 10:00-12:00.
Cost is $20 per participant.
The Avon School District has several items that have been declared surplus. Any patron of the district can take a look at the items and take them at no cost, if interested. The items available are chairs, desks, bookshelves, dry erase boards and pin boards. If interested, contact Gregg at the school between 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday to view the items. Any item not claimed by the end of the day on Thursday, June 29th will be discarded.
Avon School District has an opening for the following Paraprofessional position. Part-time Aide in our Pre-School for the 2023-2024 school year. Hours are 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM Monday through Thursday. To apply contact Superintendent Tom Culver.

The Avon Strength and Conditioning Program starts Monday morning, June 5th in the gym. The program runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM.
Congratulations to Lila Vanderlei for placing 5th at the State Track Meet in the Shot Put. Lila had her best throw of 36'9.50". Great job!!

Looking for a summer job? The Avon School District is looking to hire student workers. Hours are Monday-Thursday. 7am-5:30pm.
