The Avon/Scotland Junior High and Junior Varsity Golf Meet scheduled for Tuesday, April 20th has been postponed until Thursday, April 22nd. The Junior High will be playing Scotland and the Junior Varsity in Tyndall. Start time is 10:00 AM.
The Wagner track meet scheduled for today has been cancelled.
School Board election is tomorrow, April 13th at the Avon Fire Hall. The poll is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Make sure you bring your drivers license to vote.
The Avon Lion's Club has decided to cancel the Fun Fest that was scheduled for April 23rd in the Avon Gym.
Congratulations to the Avon wrestlers that are members of the Bon Homme Youth Wrestling Team. The team finished 6th overall out of 106 teams that competed at the State AAU Wrestling Tournament. The Avon Drama Club will be presenting "The Purrfect Crime" written by Todd Wallinger with permission from Pioneer Drama Service. The presentation will be on Saturday, April 17th. Dinner at 6:00 PM and show at 7:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the Avon School Business Office for $12. Purchase your tickets by April 9th.
