It's National Hair Day. God only made so many perfect heads. The rest he put hair on!

Modern technology in communication offers many conveniences in today’s fast-paced world, but sending letters in the mail creates a more personal connection. Our 3rd grade class learned how to write friendly letters and properly address envelopes. We walked to the post office to purchase stamps and send our letters to the lucky recipients. We sure hope they will be excited to find something in their mailboxes besides bills!

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Pirate Mya Cahoy. Mya was truly a blessing to have among the halls of Avon school. She touched the lives of many students and teachers with kindness, strength, love, and laughter. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Please keep Mark and Kris and the entire Cahoy family in your thoughts and prayers.
